Item Name: Velotex Express
Quick Description |
This affordable all in one direct to fabric system offers operational efficiency by incorporating a sublimation/curing unit with a fast 64" inkjet printer in an affordable package ideal for sign shops and screen printers alike. Ideal for the production of short run flags, banners and pop-up displays, the Velotex Express is also a viable printing system for short run roll to roll fabric printing production. Velotex printer allows for continuous, unattended printing of textiles, eliminating the need for transfer and blotting papers, as well as the need for post treatment of the fabric with a heat press or steamer. For dye sublimation manufacturers, this means no paper cockling and a reduction in defects such as ghosting and various “wave” or “tiger stripes” caused by glycol out-gassing or fabric shrinkage that are common in roll-to-roll production environments. For print shops new to dye sublimation the Velotex Xpress system offers a plug and play system that is easy to operate and maintain. Read more about Velotex Express specs and features here... |

Mimaki Direct to Textile Printers
Item Name: DS-1600
Product Description |
Direct printing yields finer lines and sharper edges than do transfer systems. This system requires no transfer paper or liner paper. Its running costs are much lower than those of traditional transfer systems. The system avoids cockling of printed transfer paper and mistakes that are made by wrinkling transfer paper when transferring the ink onto fabric. The tension bar moves vertically to make adjustments for proper feeding. Suitable for continuous operation, the head configuration employs an array of two staggered print heads. Single ink set or double ink set modes are available making it possible to print on cotton and polyester fabrics using one printer. In addition, both print modes can use either high-speed print of 4-color or high-quality print of 6-color. A ditch prevents penetrated ink from marking other fabrics. In addition to the drive roller and friction roller, the take-up unit and feeding unit with a dancer roller maintain tension in the fabric to prevent wrinkling. Two fabric retainers hold the edges of the fabric, thereby preventing it from touching the print head. |
