Traditionally textured and piled materials where unsuitable for ink jet dye sublimation transfer printing as the volume of dyes printed was not enough to reach deep at the base of the fibers or to dye the whole fiber once pressed to one side in the heat press. ElvaJet Dye Sublimation ink resolves that issue by increasing the dispersed dye concentration by at least 30%. When printed on a High Release transfer paper and pressed with a Monti Antonio heat press using the vacuum option microfiber blankets, polyester terry towels and other similar materials can be easily printed and dyed tot he base of the material.
