Monti Antonio offers the most complete range of heat presses for sublimation
printing, including flatbed presses, rotary drum heat presses, and special
application heat presses with unique and often patented features that are
designed for high quality and unique output, high speed production, and
reduced waste due to defects such as ghosting.

Vacuum Option: This option allows inks to deeply penetrate into the
material without applying pressure. This feature offers advantages for
the following materials and applications.

Sublimated Sportswear: Deeper ink penetration eliminates the appearance
of white fibers on Lycra and other fabrics when they are stretched.

Sublimated Casino Tables: Deeper ink penetration reduces the
rubbing-induced discoloration of the felt. It also increases the life
of the felt on digitally printed tables, approaching that of
screen-printed felts, and it uses less ink than does screen printing.

Sublimated Carpets, Towels and Other "Pile" Fabrics: By using a vacuum
rather than pressure for the ink transfer, the Monti Antionio heat press
equipped with the vacuum option yields digitally printed images on
towels, carpets, and other materials with various pile thicknesses. The
deeper ink penetration covers the whole fiber down to the core of the
material, eliminating white spots.

Sublimated Double-Sided Flags and Banners: Double-sided flags and
banners are now a reality with Monti's vacuum option. All it takes is a
single sheet of printed paper and 30 to 45 seconds in the heat press to
produce a perfect image on both sides of the flag in a single step.
Double Platen Option: This option is ideal for simultaneous printing on both
sides of articles such as socks, stockings, seamless garments, glass, metal,
plastics, wood, tiles, etc.
Vacuum-Sealed Drum Drums: This is another patented feature available only on
Monti Antonio rotary presses. The vacuum-sealed drum prevents oil oxidation,
thereby eliminating the need for oil changes during the lifetime of the press.
A single heating element guarantees even heat distribution with maximum
variations of +/- 1 degree Celsius across the drum. It also uses a fraction of
the electricity used by traditional heat presses with multiple heating elements.

This production rotary press with a patented, sealed oil drum offers
the versatility of roll-to-roll, cut-sheet, and/or cut-piece feeding

engineering that uses 90% of the drum’s surface, the 500 mm drum
increases production speed to almost twice that of other presses
with the same drum diameter. The feeding table is designed for
optimal cut-piece or sheet-feed production and the fabric and paper
feeding unit is designed to maintain constant tension in the fabric
and paper to reduce the problems of cockling and wrinkles,
especially during roll-to-roll or roll+cut-piece production. |
