The Media Pro system is designed to
allow the use of larger media rolls on today's ultra fast inkjet
printers.
Most Mimaki, Roland and Mutoh printers
will print 100yards (330ft) of Media in 6 to 7 hours with a maximum
output capacity of 2 rolls of Media per day if an operator is ready
to exchange the media roll as soon as the previous one is finished.
With the advent of even faster printers such as the JV5 capable of
printing the same roll of media in about 2 hours unless an operator
is on duty all night long there is no way production can continue
during the night. Replacing rolls is also often time-consuming and
inconvenient and in a busy shop a printer might sit idle for a long
time before the media is replaced and the printer goes back to work
wasting a lot of precious time in a world of fast turn rounds and
short delivery deadlines.
The Media Pro system resolves these
issues by allowing the use of Master rolls of up to 3000 yards or
more!
The Media Pro unit can be used as a
feeder, as a take up device or when two units are used together as a
complete system. A Media handling device is included in order to
allow operators to move the extra large paper rolls easily with the
aid of a forklift. |

respectively. This configuration is ideal for fabric mills and
industrial printers have production runs of hundreds or even
thousand of yards. Taking advantage of the 1300lb capacity of the
